January 1957
– A meeting was held to formally create a new Sunday School in the Cedardale School gymnasium to start in November 1957. The enrollment blossomed from 141 students to 360 with 22 Sunday school teachers.
May 12, 1957
– The first Church service of the new Church was held at the Spuraway Hall – first service conducted by Rev. E. Bunt.
1958
January 13, 1958 –
The first Annual General Meeting was held, and the name St. David’s United Church was selected. Purchase price of land $20,000, completed price of Church $160,000, the new Church will have the seating capacity of 500.

Rev. Duncan Wilke was called as the first minister of St. David’s United Church.

The Church building was dedicated

The first service held at St. David’s United Church; the service was member led.

March 15, 2020 –
St. David’s United Church closed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
March 22, 2020 - St. David's commenced services on-line for our members during the COVID-19 pandemic
