1957
January 1957 – A meeting was held to formally create a new Sunday School in the Cedardale School gymnasium to start in November 1957.  The enrollment blossomed from 141 students to 360 with 22 Sunday school teachers.        
May 12, 1957 – The first Church service of the new Church was held at the Spuraway Hall – first service conducted by Rev. E. Bunt.

1958
January 13, 1958 – The first Annual General Meeting was held, and the name St. David’s United Church was selected. Purchase price of land $20,000, completed price of Church $160,000, the new Church will have the seating capacity of 500. 
January 1958 – sod turning
June 1958 – Rev. Duncan Wilke was called as the first minister of St. David’s United Church.
October 26, 1958 – the corner stone was laid
Dec. 14, 1958 – The Church building was dedicated
Dec. 21, 1958 – The first service held at St. David’s United Church; the service was member led. 


1966
The expansion of the Church was supported by a donation from Carl Kottmeier sod turning Rev. Ron Smith and Mrs. Kottmeier.



1969
Manse sold
Christian Education was built and dedicated 



1971
Dr. Stevens became Minister Emeritus  



1978
Creation of the North Shore Memorial Garden eventually turned over to St. David’s Official Board to become St. David’s Memorial Garden.



1997
The Peace Pole was planted adjacent to the sign on Taylor Way.


2006
Major renovation of the Sanctuary 


2019
Dedication of the elevation – supported by members of St. David’s United Church and the Rick Hansen Foundation

2020
March 15, 2020 – St. David’s United Church closed during the COVID-19 pandemic. 
March 22, 2020 - St. David's commenced services on-line for our members during the COVID-19 pandemic

June 21, 2020 – St. David’s United Church opens to a limited congregation as the COVID Pandemic slows

2021
July 29, 2020 – St. David’s United Church opens to in person worship for the recording of Sunday Services for the month of August, as the Pandemic slows

June 12, 2022 – Ordination of Rev. Philip Francis

July 1, 2022 -   Calling of Rev. Philip Francis as Minister of St. David's United Church

July 1, 2022 -    Appointment of Rev. Dal McCrindle as Minister Emeritus of St. David's United Church
